Our Story

We started Chesapeake Vital Care with a simple belief: infusion therapy should feel personal, not clinical. For too long, patients have endured long waits, cold rooms, and confusing systems. Providers have struggled with referrals, authorizations, and disjointed communication. And families—often left in the dark—carry the emotional burden of navigating care that should feel empowering.

Our commitment to maintaining the highest level of service, care, and support is at our core and that will never change.
Circle Pattern

Redesigning the Infusion Experience

Chesapeake Vital Care delivers infusion therapy the way it should be: convenient, compassionate, and clinically excellent. Whether in the comfort of home or in our private infusion suites, we tailor every step of the experience to meet the needs of each patient, while supporting providers with seamless coordination and full transparency. Our team is built by clinicians, caregivers, and healthcare operators who understand both the details and the big picture. We’ve seen where the system breaks down—and we’re here to raise the standard.

Our Commitment

We’re here to bring clarity, comfort, and confidence to every infusion experience. At Chesapeake Vital Care, you’re not just receiving treatment—you’re being cared for.

Our Mission:

To deliver high-quality, personalized infusion therapy that empowers patients, supports providers, and brings comfort, clarity, and clinical excellence to every step of the care journey—at home or in-suite.

Description

Mary O’Donoghue is the founder and CEO of Corewood Care. Her passion for caregiving is deeply personal—her father’s early-onset Alzheimer’s diagnosis profoundly shaped her perspective on aging and the challenges families face. After experiencing firsthand the complexities of caregiving, Mary left her legal career in 2015 to establish Corewood Care, determined to provide compassionate, high-quality support to older adults and their families. As the company’s first caregiver, she has worked in every department, giving her a unique, hands-on understanding of every aspect of the business. Beyond Corewood, Mary is a dedicated community leader, serving on the boards of local organizations like the Little Falls Village and MNCHA advocating for professionalism and collaboration in private duty home care. With a deep commitment to both her clients and the broader senior care industry, Mary continues to drive innovation and excellence in aging services. Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family, visiting museums, volunteering with her local Village, and bringing joy to others with her quick wit and sense of humor.
